Have I told you lately how much I love my Cricut Maker? I use it for all different types of craft projects. There are lots of options. Like making cards, making T-shirts, cutting out sewing patterns to name a few.
Below are a few projects that I did this week cutting 651 vinyl on my Cricut Maker. I picked up a couple of cute little planters tins from Goodwill last week. They were the IKEA brand. They look brand new. I thought it would be adorable to add wording on the front of them. The Ray Dunn theme is so popular right now. So I sat down at my computer and opened up Cricut Design Space to look for a font that resembled Rae Dunn. Lo, and behold, I found a really close one. The font is Kyden. I used 651 permanent vinyl to cut out my design with my Cricut Maker, and then I adhered it to the planter. Here’s my finished project.

Another cute project that I did last night we’re beer koozies. I picked up the stainless steel koozies at Walmart on clearance for two dollars each a couple months ago. I got my Cricut Maker out and found a cute font, ITC Style Boy Standard Regular, in Design Space. These are going to make excellent gifts for some really close friends that we are camping with this weekend!

So since I made the beer koozies for the guys, I thought I should put something together for the gals. I picked up these tumblers from Walmart on clearance last winter, and I have been looking for a project for them. The saying I found on design-bundles site in their camping bundle and I thought it was perfect. I added each of the girl’s names to the back on the tumbler, and then I covered them with clear epoxy to protect the vinyl.

The last project I want to show you today is what my son’s girlfriend was able to do with a stainless steel mug. We went out and looked at the design-bundles site and found this really cute saying under their a free downloads. Once I downloaded it to my computer I uploaded it to Design Space and she cut it out of 651 vinyl and then she put it on the stainless steel mug and covered it with clear epoxy.

The projects I have mentioned today are all using vinyl. I love to add some personality or a personal touch using vinyl. If you would like me to put together a tutorial on any of these ideas just leave me a comment. These are just a few reasons why I Love My Cricut Maker!
