Inspiration Friday – Etching a Pie Plate

It is Inspiration Friday! Let’s put our Cricut Maker to work! This Friday’s project is perfect for gift giving! I was talking to my niece the other day, and she commented that she loved the etching projects I do. So, I decided that an etching project would be perfect for Inspiration Friday!

This project is using an etching technique that you can use on all types of glass objects. Just think of the items that you can pick up at Dollar Tree. A vase, a glass, a plate, or a candle holder. I am using a pie plate for this project, but you could also use a glass casserole pan. The possibilities are endless on the type of design you can etch! By adding a saying or an image to your glass item, you add your own personal touch. This also makes the gift a one of a kind. The other idea is to etch your name into your glass pans. That way you won’t get your pan mixed up with another one at your next potluck!
