It’s another Inspiration Friday, and I want to take you on a Craft Room Tour. It is my new Craft Room version 2.0. Unfortunately, we experienced a fire last March, and I lost my original craft room. We called it our labor of love and our COVID Project.
The Results of the Fire
Luckily we had insurance coverage, and we began the rebuild earlier this summer, and I moved back into my “HAPPY PLACE” last month.
The Results of the Rebuild!
I want to show you my new and improved space and share a few of my Do It Yourself craft room organization ideas to help you consider how to arrange, use, and display your supplies.
Organization Key to Inspiration
As I have said in the past, organization can be the key to inspiration. If you’re a crafter by heart, you’ll know there’s no beating a sound organizational system. Otherwise, you risk wasting valuable hours digging through drawers, tubs, and closets for your supplies. I have been there! But I am trying to turn a new leaf, especially with my new space.
When I started planning for my original craft room, I decided that setting up my craft room with a separate section dedicated to specific craft or sewing would help me with organization. I applied that same concept to Happy Place 2.0!
I want to take you on a tour of my new craft room. You can view it through the video LINK below. My original post on the set up of each area of my craft room goes into more detail on each area. This post is from Happy Place 1.0! The concepts are the same the location of the items is just a little different.
My journey involved cleaning, building, up-cycling, and lots of re-organization. The end of the journey has given me a craft room that is a functional workspace! I love my “Happy Place”, and I feel inspired to create. I hope I’ve given you some good ideas for craft storage and organization.
