Buttons are such a fun and versatile craft material! You can use them to make all sorts of things, from jewelry to accessories to home decor. I love using them in my scrapbooking and card-making, but they also make great embellishments for frames. But one of my favorite things to make with buttons is art. And this button flower garden is one of my all-time favorite button projects! It’s quick and easy to make, and it’s just so darn cute. Plus, it’s a great way to use up those stray buttons that you have hanging around.
It is so fun to see what you can create with only a few supplies. Buttons, glue, and a pen are the basic supplies you need to make these pretty button flowers. And you can use any type of button that you have on hand. I love the mix of colors and sizes in projects, but you can get creative with your own button choices. Add a frame and it is ready to display.
I love to create art as a special gift to friends. But this button flower garden would also make a great birthday or a special gift for your favorite teacher. Buttons are such a fun way to personalize a gift, and I know that anyone would love to receive this pretty piece of button art.
Creating this button flower garden is a great way to use up those buttons in your stash. But it’s also a fun and easy way to add a pop of color to any room in your home. So gather up your supplies and get ready to make something pretty!

The video tutorial is great for those who want to see the project come together, and the step-by-step instructions are perfect for those who want a more detailed look at each component. Either way, you’ll be able to create this project with ease! So what are you waiting for? Let’s get started!
Step #1
Start by cutting your paper to fit the size of the frame you are using to display your garden.
Step #2
Layout your buttons to determine what you want your flower garden to look like. I also like to cut off the backs of my buttons so help them lay flat.
Step #3
Next, it is time to add the stems. I like to first trace my stems on with a pencil and then fill them in with a black felt pen.
Step #4
Then, start gluing buttons to the paper, working from the outside in. Begin with the larger buttons, and then fill in with the smaller ones. Once you have your desired look, set the project aside to dry.
Step #5
Start by removing the glass from the frame.
Next, add a bead of glue around the inside edge of the frame.
Then, lay the button flower garden inside the frame and add the frame backing.
That’s it! Now you have a beautiful button flower garden that you can display proudly.
