Have you ever wanted to give someone a bouquet that would last forever? Now, with this fun and easy button bouquet in a salt shaker, you can! This makes a great gift idea and is so simple to create.
One of my favorite things to do is to go button shopping. I love finding buttons of all different colors, shapes, and sizes. Especially enjoy buttons with unique designs or interesting history. I am always looking for buttons at garage sales and thrift stores.
Buttons are a unique and fun way to add color and personality to your bouquet. There are endless possibilities when choosing colors and patterns for your button bouquet. You can use a classic look or mix things with a more modern color scheme. Buttons are also a great way to add patriotism to your bouquet. Red, white and blue buttons are perfect for the Fourth of July or Memorial Day. If you’re looking for something unique, try buttons in different sizes, colors, or shapes. Buttons are a fun and easy way to add an extra flair to your bouquet.
This project is just one of those that makes me smile every time I look at it. It’s so cute and would make a fantastic little gift, too!

Step #1 Layer Buttons
Layers are the secret to this sweet tutorial! You will need buttons and floral wire. Bend the wire in half before pressing them through each hole. Then push all of those little pieces together.
Step #2 Twist Wire
With needle nose pliers in hand, twist the wire tightly onto one side of your button. This will ensure that it doesn’t slip off when we’re all done!
Step #3 Floral Tape
As an option, make your stem thicker with floral tape!
Step #4 Trim Stems
I like to have my flowers in different lengths, so trim your stems as you want.
Step #5 Arrange Button Flowers
Now it is time to add your button flowers to the salt shaker. Make sure the top is on the salt shaker and add the flowers through the holes of the shaker and arrange them!
This project is a great way to show someone you care, and it’s simple to make! Whether you’re giving it as a gift or keeping it for yourself, this button bouquet in a salt shaker is sure to please. So gather your supplies and get started today! You’ll be glad you did.
