Today officially starts the 12 Days of Christmas. I love to say the 12 Days of Giving Homemade! “The 12 Days of Christmas” is a holiday song most of us know by heart. In case you forgot the lyrics, here’s a refresher on the final verse:
“On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me—twelve drummers drumming, eleven pipers piping, ten lords a-leapin’, nine ladies dancing, eight maids a-milking, seven swans a-swimming, six geese a-laying, five golden rings, four calling birds, three French hens, two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree.”
The song builds on gifts from your loved one! What about your gift-giving this year. When it comes to gift-giving, it’s always tempting to take the easy route and get everyone a gift cards year after year. This year, shake things up a little and make something homemade.
This week’s post is all about Giving Homemade! My Inspiration Friday blog is all about Inspiration in a review. I put together all the projects that I created this past year. I have not done a DIY on all of the projects, but I hope it will show you all of the incredible things YOU can make for your family and friends all year long. Is it a birthday present, a wedding gift, a shower gift, a Christmas present? They can all be handmade — a gift from the heart.
